Uzmite neku malo vecu tikvicu otprilike 0,5 kg. Dobro je operite,ogulite i narendajte,jako bitno je da posolite i ostavite da odstoji neko vrijeme. Soljenje poma\u017ee da tikvica pusti vi\u0161ak te\u010dnosti, jer u suprotnom mo\u017ee razvodniti smesu i ote\u017eati pe\u010denje. Poslije par minuta, uz pomo\u0107 cediljke ili \u010diste kuhinjske krpe, pa\u017eljivo se iscedi vi\u0161ak vode.
